Meet Randy Smythe
After retiring a few years ago, Randy purchased Snuffy (his beloved sprinter van), grabbed his camera equipment, and hit the road. He now travels the USA full time visiting all there is to see in this wonderful country. He's visited over 50 National Parks, been to all 4 corners of the USA, and SO many places in-between.
This year he has spent his time traveling The Mother Road, Route 66. ALL of it, from Santa Monica to Navy Pier. It's a very special year for Route 66 - she turns 100 years old in November. Randy has already completed the entire length of it once and is now about to turn around and drive the entire length back as well!
Randy's love of photography has produced well over 15,000 photographs of The Mother Road, and he is VERY excited to announce that, for the first time, he is making some of his work available to the public.
